An Invitation to Become a Flock Keeper An Invitation to Become a Flock Keeper
There is something deeply reassuring about standing beside a pasture fence and watching the sheep quietly graze.
The seasons unfold at an unhurried pace. Lambs arrive. Wool grows. The grass changes with the weather. Every year follows a familiar rhythm, yet no two seasons are ever quite the same.
Flock Keepers is an invitation to become part of that rhythm.
It is for those who believe the story behind what we make and use matters. That the care of land and animals is worth celebrating. That photographs, wool, and words can preserve not only memories, but a way of life.
As a Flock Keeper, your membership helps support the ongoing care of the flock and the work of documenting the lives of shepherds, their sheep, and the landscapes they steward.
Together, we create a living record of provenance—where things come from, who shaped them, and why those stories deserve to be remembered.
Throughout the year, I’ll share seasonal photographs, field notes, and stories from the farm, inviting you to witness the quiet beauty of everyday life with the flock.
You’ll receive carefully chosen keepsakes from the seasons—perhaps a fine art print, a handful of raw wool ready for your own hands, or other treasures that carry the character of this place.
My hope is that, over time, you’ll feel less like a subscriber and more like a steward. That you’ll come to know this flock, anticipate each new season, and find yourself leaning on the pasture fence, if only in spirit.
If this speaks to something you’ve been longing for, I’d be honoured to welcome you as one of our Flock Keepers.
Together, we’ll keep these stories alive.
